Talented Visual Arts Program celebrated Black History Month with Creativity in Color art exhibition
Alani Morales-Paulino

JP Schools Talented Visual Arts Program proudly celebrated Black History Month with the Creativity in Color art exhibition, showcasing the incredible talents of our students.

This inspiring event highlighted student artwork honoring the past and present achievements of Black creatives across visual art, music, dance, theater, film, fashion, and more.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at the Louisiana Civil Rights Museum located inside the Morial Convention Center, Hall A, to celebrate culture, creativity, and the next generation of artists shaping our future. The exhibition will remain on view through March 3 during regular museum hours.

Special thanks to Talented Art teachers Angel Omoike and Elizabeth Arias for organizing this exhibition.
